ACR40T-A7 - Compact SIM-Sized Smart Card Reader with USB Type-C
ACR40T-A7 is ACS’s latest high-speed contact smart card reader featuring a modern USB Type-C connector. It supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards (5 V, 3 V, 1.8 V), microprocessor cards using T=0 and T=1 protocols, and a wide range of memory cards. Firmware upgrade support ensures long-term compatibility and flexibility.
With its ultra-compact form factor (4.47 × 1.78 × 0.8 cm, 5 g), the ACR40T-A7 combines sophistication with usability. The sliding SIM-card slot ensures safe and convenient daily operation while minimizing wear and contact damage.
The reader includes a built-in button that can be programmed for user-presence confirmation, ensuring the physical involvement of the cardholder during sensitive operations.
