Yubico Security Key C NFC (Black) is a compact hardware authentication key designed to protect personal and business accounts. Supporting FIDO2, WebAuthn and FIDO U2F, it enables strong two-factor authentication (2FA) and passwordless sign-in for compatible online services.

With USB Type-C and NFC, the security key works with modern computers, laptops and compatible smartphones. Its lightweight, durable design makes it easy to carry on a keychain without requiring batteries or charging.

FIDO2 – phishing-resistant authentication

Security Key C NFC uses public-key cryptography to secure authentication. Credentials are bound to individual services, preventing their use on fraudulent login websites. Private cryptographic keys remain protected inside the device.

FIDO2 Level 2 certification and support for CTAP 2.1 and FIDO U2F provide standards-based hardware authentication for personal and enterprise environments.

Passwordless login – up to 100 passkeys

The key can store up to 100 FIDO2 passkeys, enabling passwordless authentication with compatible services. It can also act as a second authentication factor when signing in with a traditional password.

Depending on the connection method, authentication is confirmed by touching the security key or tapping it against a compatible NFC-enabled device.

Durable IP68 construction

The glass-fibre reinforced housing provides excellent mechanical durability. The device is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance and features no batteries or moving parts.

Measuring just 18 × 45 × 3.3 mm and weighing approximately 3 g, it fits conveniently on a standard keyring for everyday use.
