ACR40T-A1 - SIM-sized smart card reader (USB Type-A)

The ACR40T-A1 is ACS’s compact high-speed SIM-sized contact smart card reader featuring a standard USB Type-A connector. The reader supports firmware upgrades, enabling long-term compatibility and easy maintenance without hardware replacement.

Its competitive advantage is a sliding card entry slot that simplifies card insertion and protects contacts when transported. The device supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards (5 V, 3 V, 1.8 V) and microprocessor cards using the T=0 and T=1 protocols. Compliance with CCID, PC/SC and Microsoft® WHQL ensures broad interoperability.
