ACR40T-A5 - SIM-sized high-speed smart card reader (USB Type-C)

The ACR40T-A5 is ACS’s compact, high-speed SIM-sized contact smart card reader featuring a reversible USB Type-C connector. Its signature design element is a sliding card entry slot that simplifies card handling and protects contacts during transport.

The reader supports ISO 7816 Class A, B and C smart cards (5 V, 3 V, 1.8 V) and microprocessor cards using the T=0 and T=1 protocols. It is firmware-upgradeable, enabling long-term compatibility and security updates without replacing hardware.
