ACS PocketKey+ II AFD03-A2ACSB – FIDO Security Key with PKI and NFC

ACS PocketKey+ II AFD03-A2ACSB is a compact security key designed for modern user authentication. It supports FIDO2 and FIDO U2F, providing passwordless access to compatible services and systems. With built-in PKI support, PocketKey+ II extends the functionality of a conventional FIDO security key to environments using digital certificates and PKI credentials.

The device provides two connectivity options: USB Type-C and NFC. Its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for desktop workstations, laptops and supported mobile authentication scenarios.

FIDO2 and passwordless authentication

PocketKey+ II is a FIDO-certified security key supporting FIDO2 CTAP2 and FIDO U2F. Cryptographic credentials are stored on the device, allowing authentication without sending a traditional password to the service. FIDO authentication is designed to provide strong protection against phishing and credential theft.

A built-in mechanical user-presence switch allows the user to confirm their physical presence during authentication operations.

PKI - more than a standard FIDO key

One of the key features of PocketKey+ II is PKI support. The device provides up to 150 PKI slots, allowing it to be used in solutions that require storage and use of multiple digital certificates or cryptographic credentials.

This makes PocketKey+ II suitable for scenarios involving digital certificates, electronic signatures and other PKI-based applications, provided that the appropriate certificate, software and deployment environment support the required functionality.

USB HID + CCID

Unlike the basic PocketKey+, the PocketKey+ II supports both USB HID and USB CCID. This extends integration possibilities for applications combining FIDO authentication with PKI functionality.

The USB Type-C interface operates at USB 2.0 Full Speed up to 12 Mbps. The device is powered through the USB port.

NFC - convenient wireless authentication

PocketKey+ II features an NFC interface compliant with ISO 14443 Type A. This enables compatible FIDO authentication scenarios without physically connecting the security key to a USB port.

Up to 100 passkeys and 150 PKI slots

PocketKey+ II can store up to 100 FIDO2 passkeys and up to 150 PKI credentials. This allows one compact device to support multiple accounts, services and digital certificates.
